Managing Director

Pádraig is a Director of Development 8 and is responsible for managing our portfolio of investment properties as well as maximising our development pipeline. Pádraig has over 20 years’ experience in the construction and property industry in Ireland and the UK. He was previously a Director of Capital Assets where he led the advisory team involved in the asset disposal programmes for a number of financial institutions. Prior to that he was Development Director for a leading Property Development Company. Pádraig is a Member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors, the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and the Institute of Directors.

Simon Wagner

Chairman

Simon is a Director of Development 8 and is responsible for the company’s overall strategy and its financing relationships. Simon has extensive experience in real estate lending and investment. He started his career in the New York and London offices of Morgan Stanley, and also was a partner at a multi-billion dollar multi-strategy hedge fund in London. Simon holds a degree from the University of Virginia and is a CFA charterholder.

Director

Sean leads Development8's North American activities. He is an experienced investor and manager who previously worked at Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Sean holds a BS from Columbia University.

Aoife Gaffney

Associate Director

Aoife is an Associate Director of Development 8. Having gained experience in Ireland's largest and longest-standing property advisory firms, Sherry FitzGerald and Wyse, Aoife brings with her over 12 years' experience in the property industry. Prior to joining Development 8, Aoife headed up the Residential department at Burlington Real Estate where she managed mixed-portfolios and high-profile projects for financial institutions, private investors and NAMA. Aoife is a member of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers (IPAV) and is licenced by the Property Services Regulatory Authority (PSRA).

Nikolaus Lengersdorff

Manager

Nikolaus is a Manager of Development 8, supporting the company’s investment activities through research, financial/commercial analysis, and overall transaction management. Nikolaus was most recently an Associate in Morgan Stanley’s Leveraged & Acquisition Finance team in London, where he spent over three years advising clients in the execution of leveraged debt financings. He holds a BSc in Technical Physics from Vienna University of Technology.

Sean is a Senior Manager for Development 8. As the company's longest-serving team member, Sean is responsible for setting up and maintaining Development 8's systems and operations. Previously, Sean worked in banking and commercial credit risk.
